Make plans to dine at Texas Roadhouse next Monday night to support the OSHS Cheerleaders! 10% of the profits will benefit the Cheerleaders.


STEM Night is quickly approaching! Make your plans NOW to join us next Tuesday for a night of food, fun, and family activities. Several local colleges and businesses will be set up like a college/career fair in the gym to talk about the opportunities provided to students upon graduation. Our award winning band will also be performing in the cafeteria. We will have food trucks and door prizes as well. We look forward to seeing our community members from 5-7 next Tuesday, April 18!


Last week concluded our annual Egg Hunt around the school sponsored by the Counseling Department. These are some of the lucky winners! The students had a great time searching the school for eggs in between classes and before school. They won candy and gift cards!


If you missed the OSHS blood drive or would like to donate, there will be another drive coming up at the Food City in Oliver Springs on Wednesday, April 12, from 12 - 6 p.m. Please mention that you are with the high school so they can mark it for credit. No School TOMORROW Friday, April 7th. Students will return on Monday, April 10th.


Roane County Schools TN will be closed tomorrow, Friday, April 7, 2023, in observance of Good Friday. Students and staff do not report. Classes will resume on Monday, April 10, 2023.

Tomorrow, April 6, is the final day for donations to Random Acts of Flowers. Please drop off vase/jar and monetary donations to the front office.

The Annual OSHS STEM Night is quickly approaching. This year STEM Night will be on Tuesday, April 18, from 5:00-7:00 at OSHS. There will be many fun activities for children, vendors present, and more! Be sure to join us as we celebrate STEM education in our school and community!

The Annual Egg Hunt is underway at OSHS! There are 19 eggs hidden throughout the school that students can turn in for prizes to the counseling office. There is also 1 prize eggs that has a $50 gift card! Good luck students! The Egg Hunt will last for this week only!


OSHS Baseball and Softball Teams had winning nights last night! The baseball team defeated Rockwood and the softball team defeated Sunbright. Great job to these teams! Tonight the baseball team plays TKA @ home and the softball team plays @ Anderson County.


Earlier this week, Michael Hicks, who is a Water Resources Engineer for TVA, spoke with the junior PBL class about the Tennessee River System, TVA Dams, River Management, and Flood Prevention. This was to help prepare the juniors for the current PBL assignment to "Stop the Flooding at Arrowhead Park."



Last day to get $30 Prom tickets is this Friday. They go up to $40 each starting Monday!

What an exciting Monday night in OSHS Spring sports! The OSHS Baseball team defeated Sunbright @ Sunbright and the Lady Cats also defeated Oneida last night!
Tonight the baseball team plays Sunbright at OS at 6:00pm. The baseball team also plays against Rockwood at home on Thursday and then another home game on Friday against TKA. Both of those games are at 6:00pm as well.
The softball team plays away the rest of the week against Sunbright on Thursday and Anderson County on Friday night. Those games are also at 6:00pm.

Juniors, tomorrow is the ACT test! Please be sure to get a good night's rest, eat a good breakfast, and be at school on time. Join us in wishing them good luck!


On Thursday, March 30th, the juniors will be going to Harriman High School for the Career Fair. Please make sure their permission forms are signed by guardians and submitted ASAP!

The MEDIC Bus will be at OSHS on March 29th from 8:30-2:30!
