Check back for our next club meeting!
Tiger Library Council offers our students the opportunity to
have extra interaction in the library. Students must maintain
a "C" average to participate. Meetings usually occur once a
month afterschool, to determine how TLC can interact with our
school and our community. During this time students also help
Ms. Holland shelve books, clean up the library, and help with other
library responsibilities. Students also get to help pick new
selections for the library and weed old materials to keep our
library up to date and inviting.
Meetings are typically announced during morning/afternoon
announcements, with signs by the bathroom areas and the library,
and on the library's web page, Facebook page, and Twitter.
For the 2015-2016 School Year the following activities will be
promoted by Library Council:
-Public Library Membership Drive (November)
-Cocoa and Cookies for the Teachers (December)
-Read Across America Week Activities (March)
-Walking Field Trip to Public Library (April or May)
Updates for these events will be posted online.
Ms. Holland sponsors this club. Please feel free to
contact her with questions, concerns, or suggestions.
